“ I+D collaboration between Hortifrut Perú S.A.C. and Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya”.

Periode: From 01/15/2020 to 04/15/2021.

The object of the agreement is to carry out an R&D project consisting of the implementation for HORTIFRUT of a system of variable application of phytosanitary products based on prescription maps and the creation of a traceability and data management system in the cultivation of blueberry.

BELCHIM

“Collaboration between Belchim and UPC”.

Periode: From 03/01/2020 to 03/01/2021

The collaboration agreement with BELCHIM consists of the development of a prototype for the application of phytosanitary products to pruning wounds in vineyards with a special focus on the application of the commercial product.

NUFRI

"I+D collaboration between NUFRI and Universitat Politècnica De Catalunya"

Periode: From 01/01/2020 to 12/31/2020

R&D project with the NUFRI that consists of the implementation of a protocol for the application of phytosanitary products in apple trees: characterizing the available application equipment, preparing an application plan, and evaluating the effectiveness of the treatments, with the objective of rationalizing the volume of broth and the quantity of phytosanitary product to apply.

LECHLER

"Evaluation of the suitability of different types of nozzles for tree crops"

Periode: From 01/01/2019 to 01/31/2021

Research project with LECHLER about the study of the behavior of liquid distribution, depending on the type of nozzle, when a conventional atomizer is used under specific conditions of pressure and air volume. In this study, the distribution of the liquid was measured in a vertical bank with three types of nozzles and at three different distances..

ANSEMAT

"Manufacture requirements of equipment for the application of phytosanitary products".

Periode: From 07/01/2020 to 08/31/2021

The collaboration with the Asociación Nacional de Maquinaria Agropecuaria, Forestal y de Espacios Verdes (ANSEMAT) it is about helping spray equipment manufacturers to comply with current legislation. The inclusion of the environmental and safety requirements that pesticide application equipment must meet to be placed on the European market represents an important change in the criteria and in the manufacturing procedures of the equipment that are mandatory for the manufacturer .
