Location

The Agricultural Mechanization Unit (UMA) belongs to the Department of Agri-Food Engineering and Biotechnology (DEAB) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Located at the offices of the Barcelona School of Biosystems and Agri-Food Engineering (ESAB) at the Campus of Baix Llobregat (Mediterranean Technology Park). Members of this group teach classes in agroforestry machinery in the different engineering degrees of the school.

The UMA also has a new Laboratory of Agricultural Mechanization at Agrópolis-UPC (Agrópolis), a research centre located at Camino de las Filipinas 110 in the term of Viladecans (Barcelona) where the UMA carries out most of its activity.
