CANOPIES represents the first attempt to introduce a collaborative human-robot paradigm in the field of precision agriculture. Specifically, this project is based on permanent crops where farmers can work efficiently with teams of robots to improve performance in certain agricultural jobs, such as harvesting or pruning table grapes in vineyards.
